TRY USING FRESH CREAM AS A FACIAL CLEANSER- IT REALLY WORKS

I was out  of any cream cleanser so instead of using one of my trusted oils as cleanser I used fresh cream.I have used it before and had forgotten how effective it is.It removes makeup, grease and grime, and mildly exfoliates as it naturally contains  lactic acid.
It's better for use on dry, dehydrated, sensitive or ageing skin types.Probably too oily or rich for oily skin or those prone to breakouts. It's a great alternative to cream or lotion cleansers-you can save your money, just keep fresh cream in the fridge!
Use organic cream if possible-just massage into face, neck and decolletage, remove with moist cotton pads, then splash with cool water and/or tone.
Easy,peasy cleansing!Hope you get good results.let me know what you think,love f

PRODUCT RECOMMENDATION-DR.ORGANIC 100% ORGANIC MANUKA HONEY BODY BUTTER

This is a beautiful body butter that melts into the skin.It has a definate honey smell, quite strong but pleasant.
It is unusual in that it's not an ultra thick, heavy body butter like others, but has a silky texture that is easily absorbed but dosn't leave a greasy residue. This could be due to the purity of the product, the ingredients chosen and the way its been blended together. It is one of the best all over body moisturisers I have used for a long time-it really works!
I've also experimented and used it on my face as a heavier night cream-amazing result the next day and I could still smell the honey!
dr.organic uses certified bioactive ingredients:
Manuka Honey
Aloe Vera
Shea Butter
Jojoba
Vitamin E
It left my body (and face)hydrated, moisturised and replenished, and lasted all day.Highly recommended.
Enjoy,love f

ORGANIC ROSEHIP SEED OIL-IDEAL FOR ECZEMA,SCARS,WRINKLES.....

There's a buzz about Rosehip seed oil at the moment, and for good reason.Organic rosehip seed oil is a precious gem of an oil,it is so good for the skin.
You can use it on it's own or mix it with other oils or into a base cream or your own moisturiser.
The benefits of this well absorbed, lightweight, odourless oil cannot be praised enough: Promotes tissue regeneration-ideal for eczema, psoriasis, irritated, red or hot skin, great for after sun;all types of scar tissue including pigmented scars, stretch marks, old injuries, surgical scars;mature, dry skin, wrinkles-it tones and heals when massaged into the skin regularly.
Rosehip seed oil is used widely in the beauty industry and is found in many skin care ranges-it contains up to 35% linoleic acid,44% gammalinolenic acid and is rich in vitamins.
I sometimes use it as a makeup remover and then again as a night treatment oil-apply while skin is still warm after shower and massage into entire face, neck and decollettage, then massage into entire body to soak in overnight.
Rosehip seed oil is available from health food outlets and some pharmacies.

Thought i'd share this:
"Here's my beauty secret: use organic skin care;eat mostly organic foods, such as whole grains, veges, fruits, organic salmon;exercise aerobically, practise yoga or strength training, get plenty of sleep, and drink lots of water."-Karen Behnke, founder of Juice Beauty

ECO-FRIENDLY SKIN CARE FOR DRY,SENSITIVE SKIN

The dry weather of late, coupled with wind, can cause your skin to really dry out and become sensitive and dehydrated.Redness and irritation can occur with every line and wrinkle sticking out where it's not wanted.
This calls for extra care, and comfort creams.
Windy weather strips the skin of both oil and water(dehydration),so we need to replace both internally and externally.
Internally drink a lot of water, herb and green teas.Take fish oil or flaxseed oil-you'll notice a big difference to the condition of your skin, especially long term.
Thats the easy part.
Swap to a cream, lotion or oil based cleanser.Almond oil is fantastic and makes an ideal makeup remover as well.
Weleda make beautiful, gentle skincare products that are natural and organic.
A'kin do a lovely cream cleanser as well.
There are so many eco friendly brands now and it is a matter of trying different moisturisers and finding one that works for your particular skin and lifestyle. If skin is dry and sensitive it works well to use a serum or oil UNDERNEATH moisturiser during the day and on cleansed skin at night as a treatment. If skin is really parched use oil and a heavier night cream over the top.
The brand dr.organic bioactive skincare make beautiful moisturisers and body butters that are rich but lightweight as well and absorb beautifully into the skin and contain certified organic ingredients.
The Kora organics tinted day cream is really good - it says on the label to wear it over the top of moisturiser which is a great idea if your skin is dry like mine and iv'e been doing that and it's made a difference.
Hope this info helps,love f

BOOK REVIEW-DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF.......and it's all small stuff- BY RICHARD CARLSON,PH.D.

I'm reading this book about 12 years after first hearing about it when my daughter was a baby.I read one of his other books back then which was great, but this beckoned me the other day.so....
As the heading implies,it really teaches you to stop sweating over, worrying about, and constantly nitpicking over the things in life that don't really matter anyway.I'ts just a great read for those who want peace and contentment instead of confusion and frustration.
It's an easy read,a couple of pages to each concept (chapter),suggesting ways to lower your stress levels, find the potential good in situations that previously frustrated us,find peace and calm, and change our attitudes that damage our peace of mind.
The information is also written in a way that helps you look on yourself and the rest of the humanity with compassion.
This is actually light bedside reading-iv'e been falling asleep after reading a few pages each night. It's insightful and worth the twenty bucks.
Happy reading,love f
